Lindale and Rome, GA Landmarks

The star was first hung between the smokestacks on Pepperell Manufacturing Company in Lindale, Ga in 1932. When the mill closed, the star was donated to the community and erected on a hill overlooking Lindale.

All notecards are $15.00 + $2.00 s&h for a pack of five cards.

The design for the Wolf is based on the original sculpture in the Capitoline Museum in Rome, Italy. A replica was given to the city of Rome, Georgia on July 20, 1929 and stands in front of City Hall.

The first two designs were rendered in counted cross stitch, then scanned to create the note cards. For more designs:

The old Rome, GA train depot was done in colored pencil from a photo taken in 1890.
The Depot burned down years ago.
